TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Making a Purchase. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our product range, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. No Minimum order is required, unless stated otherwise.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of V.A.T. We accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard as credit card payment. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
You may send your credit card information via phone, PayPal email or over the Internet. You must be aged 18 or over to place an order on this site.
No minimum order. Order from 1 to 1000 bottles, there is no minimum order quantity with drinks.co.uk. Please call us on 0113 868 0145 for details.
No future commitment. We don’t have introductory offers with a future commitment to purchase. At drinks.co.uk every effort is made to ensure we can offer the best prices available everyday but with no future commitment.
Shipping and Handling. Our products are shipped immediately and should reach you within 1-5 working days depending on type of service requested. For our express next day service, orders must be received before 2pm. If you have not received your goods with 7 working days, please call us on 0113 868 0145. ASK ABOUT OUR SAME DAY SERVICE IF YOU NEED A GIFT THERE FASTER.
Delivery Schedule Delivery prices are as follows:
Standard to UK mainland £6.99 per package (i.e. up to 12 bottles or part thereof).
SAME DAY Express Service to UK mainland £16.99 per package (i.e. up to 12 bottles or part thereof).
Ireland an additional £6.99 per case.
Europe an additional £15.99 per case.
Saturday delivery an additional £14 per case.
Deliveries are not made on a Sunday.
Delivery times, UK mainlands are usually within 5 working days.
Goods must be signed for on delivery, please ensure someone is available at the delivery address when the package arrives. Be sure to examine the goods when they arrive, the courier will collect any damaged goods. Deliveries will generally be made between 9am and 4pm.
Back Orders Availability. If a product becomes out of stock you will be contacted and offered the following choices. An alternative product of equal or greater value at no extra charge. A refund to the value of the missing product. If a product is due to come in to stock you will be asked if you wish to wait for the product.
Tax Charges. For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero. Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee Quality. If you buy any of our wines and you don’t like a bottle, we will credit your account for the full amount for that bottle less delivery costs. If you have bought a whole case of one particular wine, then we will refund the whole case, including delivery, as soon as we have collected the rest of the wine from you, provided of course that you have only drunk one bottle from the case.
Breakages. If there are any breakages, the carrier will need to collect the complete case including the damaged contents. If you have any queries regarding delivery please contact us at delivery@drinks.co.uk
Availability. Wine is an agricultural product and runs out from time to time. If you order a case of wine, we may change some of the bottles, but we never use this as an opportunity to advertise a good wine and supply plonk. We promise that we will only ever replace up to three bottles without asking.
Customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with our performance in any way, please contact our customer services department immediately on 0113 868 0145. At Drinks.co.uk, we aim to deal with all enquiries fairly, confidentially and quickly. We will acknowledge your contact within 48 hours.
We try to resolve most issues immediately, but where this is not possible; we will keep you informed about progress until a satisfactory resolution has been achieved. Reaching Us. If you need to reach us, please email us on orders@drinks.co.uk, alternatively, you can call on 0113 868 0145 or write to us at drinks.co.uk, Returns Policy.
If you wish to cancel an order, you may do so within 7 days of receipt, provided all bottles are unopened and undamaged telephone us on 0113 868 0145. You will be reimbursed the price of the products within 30 days from the date the goods have been returned to us by our carrier. Please note that we are unable to reimburse you for original P&P and delivery charges when you have exercised your right to cancel an order and that we refund postage costs only if the return is a result of our error.
If all of the bottles are broken on delivery we will replace the case of wine and reimburse you the delivery charge. However, the goods must be examined on arrival and our carrier will return to us any damaged goods. If only one bottle is broken, we reserve the right to send you another bottle, or reimburse you for the price of one bottle.
Occasionally bottles are corked. In this event, email us on orders@drinks.co.uk or phone on 0113 868 0145, re-cork the bottle and we will arrange for it to be collected from you and to arrange your replacement or with something better.
Please note that we can only process returns and refunds, for items purchased from this website.
